Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 14, 2026
1. Overview & Core Principles
Superintelligence Buzz ("we", "us", or "our") respects your right to privacy and peaceful reading. We collect only the minimum information necessary to understand high-level readership trends, maintain edge routing performance, and protect our infrastructure from automated denial-of-service attacks.
2. Information We Collect & How We Use It
We do not require user accounts, passwords, or credit card information to read our dispatches. All essays, telemetry tables, and daily signals are freely accessible.
A. Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregate, non-personally identifiable telemetry regarding how visitors interact with the site. This telemetry includes:
- Aggregated pageview counts, referral sources (e.g., search engines, RSS readers, social feeds), and reading times;
- Generalized technical metrics (e.g., browser family, operating system, screen dimensions, country or city region);
- Navigational engagement (e.g., clicks on track desks or outbound preprint links).
IP Anonymization: We configure Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. Your complete IP address is never stored on Google's servers. Telemetry is evaluated strictly in aggregate to guide our editorial commissioning.
B. Cloudflare Edge Server Logs
Our website is globally cached and distributed via the Cloudflare Edge network. As part of standard HTTP transport, Cloudflare temporarily processes IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request timestamps to route network packets, enforce DDoS mitigations, and detect malicious scraping bots. These logs are handled in compliance with Cloudflare’s privacy and security standards and are automatically rotated.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
100% Cookieless Architecture: Superintelligence Buzz operates in a cookieless telemetry mode. We configure Google Analytics with client_storage: 'none', which instructs the runtime never to write or store client-side cookies (such as _ga or _ga_*) or local storage keys on your browser or device.
Because we do not write or access non-essential cookies or identifiers on user terminal devices, no intrusive consent popups or cookie banners are required under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)) and GDPR.
Zero Advertising Cookies: We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies, retargeting beacons, cross-site identity graphs, or affiliate fingerprinting scripts.
4. Your Privacy Controls & Opt-Out Options
You have full control over your telemetry preferences:
- Do Not Track (DNT) & Global Privacy Control (GPC): We encourage the use of browser-level privacy signals. Our analytics tags respect browser DNT and GPC flags.
- Browser Extensions & Ad Blockers: You may freely use privacy extensions (such as uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, or Brave Shields) without impacting your ability to read any article on Superintelligence Buzz.
- Google Analytics Opt-Out: Google provides a universal browser add-on to disable GA tracking across all websites at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Zero Data Selling & Sharing
We strictly state: We do not sell, rent, monetize, trade, or lease your personal information or browsing patterns to any third party, broker, or advertiser.
We only share information with third-party service providers (such as Cloudflare and Google Analytics) to the extent necessary to deliver the website and evaluate aggregate traffic metrics under standard data processing agreements.
6. International Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your location, you may have statutory rights under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including:
- The right to know what personal data is processed;
- The right to request deletion of personal telemetry where applicable;
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy choices.
Because Superintelligence Buzz does not require reader registration or maintain persistent user account databases, we do not store identifying profiles linked to specific individuals.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Superintelligence Buzz is an intellectual publication directed at professionals, researchers, developers, and adult readers. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 16.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological adjustments or regulatory obligations. The revised version will be published here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
